First steps, toothy grins and chubby cheeks covered in icing: all of a sudden your baby is one year old! It’s time to celebrate with a first birthday photoshoot– book in quickly before you blink and another year is gone!
The birthday photoshoot should be in a relaxed and baby-led, so please bring your baby’s favourite toys, too! I will also encourage them using my experience as a mother.
You don’t need to worry about a thing. I’ll help you with everything you need to do, from what to wear on the day to how to sit or stand in a way that looks great in your family photos. Of course we can stop for breaks whenever your baby needs a feed, cuddle or nappy change.
The birthday session includes 3 parts:
1. Mini portrait of your Baby
2. Cake smash to have fun and taste delicious cake (Other ideas are very welcome :) )
3. Bath splash to wash of your Baby and take refreshing photos

A £45 deposit is taken on booking. This secure Your slot with me. Your deposit is taken off the total amount owing for the session. The remaining amount is payable on the day of the photo session. There is no hidden cost.
By choosing the Exclusive package you will get £30 credit towards your next photo session excluding Mini sessions.
Please note that unedited images are not included in any package.
Please note that prints included in packages are copies of the digital files the client chose with their package- prints are not an additional pictures.
Package that includes 5, 10 etc. photos does not necessarily mean 5, 10 different setups/poses made during the session. The number of setups/poses made during the session can vary depending on the photographer, baby's cooperation and the package offered.

How long photo shoot will take?
All kids are different. Some need to explore the studio first, others need a little bit more time to adapt with new situation and new person. They all have different abilities and preferences. Their time table vary, some have little short burst of energy with little breaks in between, when others have unlimited energy. This session usually takes about one to two hours depends on your package.
Birthday set ups
My aim is to create personalised background for your child, to make sure this photoshoot is one of a kind. If you not unsure of the ideal theme I can guide you, and together we can make something beautiful. I can also provide confetti, decorations, loads of props and air-filled balloons. In my studio I provide outfits, headbands, hats, wraps, photo props etc. , so you don't have to worry about anything :)
Do you provide a cake?
unfortunately I don't provide a cake.
What do I need to bring with me?
Feel free to bring along toys, any outfits you would like to use, books etc. Please remember to take a milk and snacks for your little one. If your package includes family photoshoot, please remember to double check your appearance. Iron your clothes. Aesthetic makeup, clean hair and nails. It always a good idea to bring hairbrush to ensure you all look good :)
Can parents take part in the session/ sibling be included?
Of course, but only in midi and maxi package- maximum 4 people can attend in the session (parents and siblings). It is important to take beautiful pictures of your baby, so I strongly suggest to take few shoots with parents and/or siblings on the end, but when the baby stops cooperating, I cannot guarantee all planned family poses. My priority during the session is to take pictures of the baby, I focus on getting as many shots as possible.
What happens if someone in the family is sick?
If someone from your household has D&V bug ( diarrhoea and vomiting), fever or other disease sypmtoms within last 48h it is very impotant that to contact me and reschedule your photoshoot. Due the fact that I am working with newborns and other babies it is essential that they are not exposes to viruses.
I have twins/ triplet, can they both be included at the same session?
We can do their session together if there is more than one baby. Please don’t forget to mention that at the booking as this will increase the price for extra decorations, this session can also take a little bit longer.
What should we wear for family photo shoot?
I recomend to keep things neutral- white, black, grey, navy is the best choice. Of course you can choose outfit which you like, but please choose max 2 colours and avoid patterns and logos on them :)
When will the photos be ready?
Within 7 days you will get email with link to your online, password- protected gallery. When you will choose your favourites i will get info about your order. Digital photos are ready usually within 1 week after photo shoot and will be ready to download from your gallery. If your package included prints, it may take a little bit longer, because on the end of each month I send one big order to the photo lab. Usually I have them after 5 days but it depends how the lab is busy. You can collect them from my studio or I can post them for extra charge £5.50.
Payments
A £45 deposit is taken on booking. This secure Your slot with me. This is a non- refundable deposit and should You cancell for any reason You will lose Your deposit. Your £45 deposit is taken off the total amount owing for the session. The remaining amount is payable on the day of the photo session.
Payment can be made by cash , PayPal or bank transfer. Payment must be paid by date of the photo shoot at the latest. Any photos taken will not be released until payment is made.
